About Me

Introduction
Welcome to Brown Eyes Inc., my name is Tamara (also known as 'LuvMissi') and thank you for taking the time to stop by my permanent blog that is here finally!!!

My hair journey began in 2005 but I actually took the initiative to start my first semester at school in the Fall 2006. I can be a procrastinator (now more often than not) but all that is going to change. I am currently on a long transition to natural still discovering new things along the way. I do not have a choice but to create and achieve this blog and succeed in my journey.

The Journey
Arriving at school gives you a sense of maturity and my thin life-less shoulder length hair said anything but mature. Being in college, I felt a little inferior in general because my hair said so. I never had a weave before and I did not plan on getting one either. I could not accept my hair for what it looked like. Why can't I have gorgeous hair? Why must everything about be REAL except for my hair? My DESIRE and obsession to have healthy hair changed my life.

The Change
In searching the internet on how to achieve healthy long hair, I discovered a plethora of forums, social sites, and blogs for women who achieved or achieving and struggling with the same issues. I knew if I wanted long, healthy hair....I had to listen to the women who had what I wanted. I HAD TO LISTEN TO THE THOSE WHO ACHIEVED WHAT I WANTED.

Long and behold I discovered a new look on life. I met other positive thinkers, social clubs, and women with the most gorgeous hair I have ever laid eyes on.  Meeting some of the greatest achievers (rather it be hair, career, etc) I knew I was ready for a change. I wanted to learn and be an achiever as well.

I'm Ready
Throughout my life, I have learned and experienced a lot. One thing that has always kept me grounded was having a younger sister, little girls, and even some of my peers have always looked up to me as a role model in some way. I have always enjoyed community service or some type of mentoring to help anyone who needed that support, that talk, that advice. What am I waiting for? I am here, this is me, helping one person grow at a time to grow each time.
