Shampoo
I currently shampoo my hair once (1x) a week using Kinky~Curly Come Clean Shampoo or Shea Moisture Shampoo. These two (2) shampoos are labeled as organic and cruelty-free products. The kinky~curly shampoo feels more of chelating shampoo but it does leave my hair soft after one use meaning I do not repeat the shampoo process in one (1) wash.
Condition
I alternate between a moisture and protein conditioner. My hair seems to love protein so I use Ultra Black Hair Deep Conditioner more than I do my Hydratherma Naturals Moisture Conditioner. I sit under the dryer for about fifteen (15) mintues or thirty (30) mintues if I am trying to seal in heat using a shower cap, scarf, and a few plastic bags to create a lot of heat.
Leave-In

-2 tbsp Kinky~Curly Knot Today Conditioner
-2 tbsp Aloe Vera Juice
-1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
-1 tsp Organic Unrefined Coconut Oil

When washing my hair I rarely just wash it freely in the shower. I majority of the time wash it in pigtails or braids. This helps me manage my detangling, preventing knots, and ensure product distribution. I use pigtails more than braids but I will test with braids to ensure I'm not causing damage to my hair with the tails.
I'll do a braid-out or twist out on my damp hair and let them sit over night. Once I wake up to leave, I will undo my hair and put up in a banana clip into a high bun. I normally wear my hair in a high bun ninety-five (95) percent of the time in a month. The remaining percentage is when I decide to keep my hair in the braids.
Other Information
I found a plethora of information on YouTube in regards to our hair and how maintaining a pH balance of our hair is very important when it comes to the hairs health. My products are specified on the bottles as pH balance or like the leave-in when pairing products produces a balance. Below are a list of products I use that are pH balanced.
Co-Wash using Suave Humectant Conditioner - pH balance
Shea Moisture Elixir & Hydratherma Natural Gloss Spray are heat protectants (pH balance)
Moisturizer using Ultra Black Hair Moisturizing Creme Lotion - pH balance
These are my staple products as I may play around on occasions to create a mixture such as whipped shea butter mix, honey pre-poo treatment, etc.
